Welcome to the winter edition of FOLKUS! As the cooler months settle in, it’s the perfect time to cosy up with a hot cuppa and enjoy some reading. We’re delighted to bring you another jampacked issue full of village highlights, resident stories, and Northland history.

We’ve welcomed several new residents who have joined our wonderful community since the last edition. We hope you’re settling in well and starting to feel at home – we’re so happy to have you here!

We’ve seen some fantastic presentations over the past few months, including informative sessions from Neighbourhood Support and Elder Abuse – important topics that prompted conversation and greater awareness within our Village.

One event that continues to bring joy…and a lot of laughter…is our Mad Hatter’s High Tea. Each month, ten house numbers are drawn during Happy Hour. Those lucky residents are invited to join us, mad hats and all, for a whimsical afternoon of delicious tea, treats, and games. The infectious laughter from these gatherings is so robust it can often be heard from reception! What a wonderful way to connect and share some fun together.
